VTEX was founded in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 2000. The company’s focus is a digital commerce platform (PaaS) for enterprises. The international expansion started in 2013, first in Latam, later in North America, Europe, and then globally.

When I joined VTEX, the company was structuring the IPO on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). The company went public on July 21st, 2021, under the stock quote VTEX.

Engineering Manager for the Marketplace business vertical (from Jan 2024 to date)

As the engineering leader for the Marketplace business vertical, I lead the engineering teams whose mission is to maximize our clients’ presence across marketplaces. We develop solutions that allow VTEX platform merchants to manage their entire marketplace experience, including VTEX marketplaces (marketplace in) and external marketplaces (marketplace out, previously the Connections team).

As the engineering manager for the Connections team, I led the engineering teams whose mission is to develop solutions that enable VTEX platform merchants to advertise and sell their products through external marketplaces.
