My name is Eduardo Klein, and I am a Brazilian software engineering manager and a proud husband and father of two. I live with my family in Porto Alegre, Brazil.

I am a software engineering leader with over 20 years of experience in the technology industry.

In my career, I have held various engineering management positions, where I managed multiple teams, including distributed ones. I focus on developing and empowering software engineers and emerging leaders.

I am committed to fostering collaborative environments and learning-oriented organizations. My approach involves guiding teams to consistently deliver results by leveraging Lean, Agile, and DevOps practices.

I work for VTEX in the digital commerce industry. I serve as the head of engineering for the Marketplace business vertical, which falls under the Merchant organization and has the mission to maximize our clients’ presence across marketplaces.

My teams are responsible for developing and maintaining solutions that enable VTEX platform merchants to manage their entire marketplace experience. We are distributed across many states in Brazil and countries in South America, and I work remotely from my hometown.

I also have previous experience in software development within the financial market at Nelogica and mobile device management at Mobiltec.

As the engineering leader for the Marketplace business vertical, I lead the engineering teams whose mission is to maximize our clients’ presence across marketplaces. We develop solutions that allow VTEX platform merchants to manage their entire marketplace experience, including VTEX marketplaces (marketplace in) and external marketplaces (marketplace out, previously the Connections team).
